Hula Girl: the wisdom of attributing mystical properties to a solar-powered perpetual motion device

She moves in response to sunlight - wiggle jiggle wiggle jiggle.
We live in response to sunlight.
We are all light-activated.
Without the sunlight there would be no life.

In the book I Am the Word, we are instructed to envision our true and perfect selves.
In my vision my true and perfect self is a laughing girl in blue light,
weightless, floating,
somersaulting,
mischief in her smile,
knowing in her eyes.
She is free,
she has no boundaries,
she is Life, gloriously joyful.

On a hot summer day when I am weighted with worry,
I stumble in my thoughts,
unhappy and afraid.
I glance a the hula girl on my dashboard and
think:
this is all just stuff
dragging me down.
Is it hard stuff? Is it difficult?
Yes.
Life is like that.
So
approach it cheerfully.
You see how light and free you can be?

On the dashboard Hula Girl winks at me
mischief in her smile
knowing in her eyes,
I see that she is the vision of my true and perfect self.
She is me. My true and perfect self.
Hula Girl winks at me
and shimmies in the sunlight.
